The team endeavors to assist law enforcement agencies in formulating evidence-based policies to combat drugs and psychotropic substances in all their manifestations on the supply side. The team prioritizes various tasks, including continuous monitoring of emerging types of drugs and psychotropic substances, and devising alternatives to counter illicit drug supply and trafficking, such as alternative development policies and strategies. Moreover, the team concentrates on enhancing international collaboration and information sharing with regulatory and law enforcement entities worldwide to strengthen the capability to combat transnational drug trafficking and trade effectively.
