The program aims to prepare experts and qualified cadres who can contribute to achieving security and justice. Cybersecurity, and reducing, combating, and investigating cybercrimes by deepening their knowledge and skills in the areas of responding to cyber incidents, digital forensic analysis, and examining forensic evidence in mobile devices. ​



1 Special admission requirements

  • The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in computer science and its branches, information technology, or its equivalent.
  • Obtaining a score of no less than 5 in the IELTS test or equivalent standard English language test.
  • Conducting a personal interview.

  • Prepare specialized scientific research in the fields of digital forensic investigation in advanced cybercrime and innovative projects to develop digital forensic investigation products and services, and provide consultancy in this field.
  • Compare the stages of criminal procedures.
  • Apply advanced and multiple technical skills in digital forensic investigations and critical thinking methods to help solve complex cybercrime cases.
  • Share concepts and technical applications related to cybersecurity and effectively explain the relevant techniques, methodologies, conclusions, and processes to targeted specialists and non-specialists.
  • Apply investigative skills related to digital forensics, including preventing cybercrimes, incidents, detection, and analysis.
  • Apply the theories, processes, and professional practices related to digital forensic analysis and cybercrime investigation processes.
  • Connect the psychological and investigative aspects and the technical aspects of cybercrime.
  • Recognize the similarities and differences between advanced knowledge and understanding of trends and developments in the field of digital forensic investigation in cybercrime, digital forensics, and investigations in cybercrime.

Forensic sciences are one of the most important applied forensic sciences that the Naif Arab University for Security Sciences has given attention to since its inception. This is because they are the most important tool in criminal investigation and the administration of justice. The university began with the name "Forensic Laboratories", and then the College of Forensic Sciences. Recently, and in line with the university's strategy and ongoing development projects, these sciences have been placed under the umbrella of the College of Criminal Justice in an independent department that seeks to provide outstanding academic programs in the Diploma, Master's, and Doctorate levels in various specializations of forensic sciences. This is aimed at professionally and academically qualifying experts and workers in the criminal field in a way that enhances their scientific and practical capabilities.
