A. Arab security strategies

The current document addresses the map of coherence and compatibility between the university’s strategic plan with the activities of higher education, scientific research, and training in support of the Arab strategies for Arab security and the recommendations of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, as the Council of Arab Interior Ministers has seven strategies for Arab security, which are:

  • The Arab Strategy to Combat the Illicit Use and Usage of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances
  • The Arab Global Strategy for Security Awareness and Crime Prevention
  • Arab Traffic Safety Strategy
  • The Arab Strategic Plan to Combat Terrorism
  • The Arab strategy for security training in light of common challenges and threats
  • Arab strategy to confront information technology crimes
  • Arab Civil Protection Strategy

B. Arab priorities in the 2030 sustainable development plan

  • Eliminate extreme poverty and reduce other poverty rates.
  • Ensuring quality education for all and eliminating illiteracy.
  • Reducing unemployment rates and providing jobs and decent work for all, including young men and women.
  • Ensuring access to water and sanitation for all and promoting the sustainable use and management of natural resources by the competent ministerial council.
  • Providing appropriate, quality, and comprehensive health services, including mental health, maternal and child health.
  • Ensuring the right to adequate housing for all and promoting sustainable and inclusive communities by the relevant Ministerial Council.
  • Achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls.

C.​Vision of the Kingdom

Naif Arab University for Security Sciences aims for regulatory compatibility by aligning programs with the National Qualifications Framework, the Unified Classification of Occupations, and institutional accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.
