Naif Arab University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) participates in the events of the 53rd edition of the Cairo International Book Fair from 26 January to 6 February 2022. It exhibits more than 130 scientific publications on various security fields covering the comprehensive concept of security. There is an increasing demand on the publications that focus on strengthening the intellectual security, in addition to the security terminology books and scientific and security periodicals.
NAUSS's participation reflects its recognition for the great cultural and scientific role of the Cairo Book Fair that is considered one of the most important cultural events on both Arab and international levels and attracts literary figures, specialists, and intellectuals from all Arab countries. NAUSS's pavilion in the fair exhibits 130 peer-reviewed scientific publications representing its most recent publications in various security, social, and cultural fields. NAUSS has become the biggest publisher of the security studies on the Arab and regional levels. The pavilion also includes a digital security library serving the Arab security bodies, researchers, and concerned parties. The digital library, represented by NAUSS's digital repository on NAUSS's website, is considered a basic element of modern education. Moreover, the guidebooks, introductory publications, posters, periodicals, and documentary films play an important role in highlighting NAUSS's activities. They also shed light on the successes achieved by NAUSS in its specialization that includes counterterrorism, drug control, modern crimes, human rights, anti-human-trafficking, nuclear security, etc.
The participation of NAUSS, the scientific body of the Arab Interior Ministers Council (AIMC), in the Arab book fairs reflects NAUSS commitment to activate the eighth Arab media plan for security awareness and crime prevention that has been approved by the AIMC for disseminating awareness and security culture. It also represents its interest in scientific research and publishing activities that constitute one of the basic missions of NAUSS.
It is worth mentioning that NAUSS's pavilion No. c19 in hall 3 witnesses a heavy turnout by specialists in security disciplines and welcomes its visitors all the days of the book fair. Publications on NAUSS and guidebooks on its facilities and scientific specializations are distributed to NAUSS's pavilion visitors.
