Objective:












The team works to achieve several objectives, including: 

1- Developing a comprehensive guidance note or guide: Creating a user-friendly guidance note outlining the rights of victims of serious crimes in the Middle East region, their needs, and support mechanisms. This resource will cover critical aspects, including legal assistance, psychosocial support, assisting organizations, and victim recognition. 

2- Implementation of a multidisciplinary program focusing on victims: Establishing and implementing a program focusing on meeting the unique needs of young victims, in addition to providing appropriate psychosocial support and capacity-building training to empower them to play active roles in society. The program aims to enhance resilience and highlight the importance of psychosocial and social support in the recovery journey. ​   

3- Organizing training and awareness workshops for stakeholders: Organizing specialized training courses and awareness workshops for law enforcement agencies, judges, police, and investigators. The goal is to ensure the protection of victims' rights and interests during criminal proceedings. These initiatives will promote a victim-centered approach, emphasizing empathy and sensitivity in dealing with victims of serious crimes.
