Objective :
The team aims to establish coordination and connections among Arab judicial and security institutions, NAUSS specialized centers, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, aiming to achieve the following outcomes:
-Developing training guides in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice in line with relevant international standards and rules. In addition to integrating training guides in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice into the curricula of training centers in member states, considering qualitative and national specificities without conflicting with international standards and rules.
-Providing a cadre of trainers capable of training in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice. Also, it endeavors to enhance the capacities of judicial and security training centers in member states in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating training programs in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice, including training programs on cybercrime, digital evidence, the relationship between organized crime and terrorism, and the criminal liability of artificial intelligence and its applications in crime fighting.
-Strengthening the capacities of relevant entities in formulating and implementing evidence-based integrated national policies and strategies in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice in accordance with international standards and rules and in line with member states.
-Holding national, regional, and cross-regional conferences and workshops to facilitate cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice among law enforcement practitioners, public prosecution, and judiciary.
-Preserving and publishing valuable research related to crime and criminal justice, as well as training guides issued by the Center or the United Nations Office on Crime and Drugs.
