Brief Biography

Dr. Alkalidi delivers lectures on international relations, focusing his research on alliances, international organizations, and regional and national security studies.

Professional Experience:

• Currently serves as the Head of the Department of Security Management and Director for the Master's Program in National Security and the Higher Diploma Program in Strategic Studies.

• Possesses extensive teaching experience in political sciences courses at both the Master's and Bachelor’s levels, spanning King Saud University, and Yarmouk University, Jordan.

• Research interests encompass strategic studies, great power relations, nuclear armament, and regional studies. His research portfolio includes research into nuclear deterrence theory in the 21st century, the conditions for the success and failure of international organizations, and the role of political socialization in fostering civil society culture, along with book translations.
