Welcome to Naif Arab University for Security Sciences​

For over forty years, our university has remained unwavering in its dedication to serving Arab security through education, training, and scientific research. As the scientific body of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, we have actively contributed to the advancement of security in the region. Today, we find ourselves on the cusp of new opportunities as we embark on our strategic plan for 2019-2023, with the aim of becoming the foremost institution in preparing Arab leaders and experts in the field of security. Our university's distinctive position, specializing in security sciences, combined with our affiliation with the Arab Interior Ministers Council, sets us apart.

Furthermore, our esteemed faculty members and security experts augment our capabilities, enabling us to provide exceptional educational services. As a result, many of our graduates have assumed influential leadership positions within Arab security agencies, attesting to the high-quality education we offer.

The training courses and diverse scientific activities organized by NAUSS have had a substantial impact on the development of Arab personnel. Over the past decades, tens of thousands of individuals have actively participated in our programs, benefiting from the knowledge and skills imparted. Furthermore, NAUSS has played a pivotal role in shaping the Arab intellectual landscape through its extensive publication record, establishing itself as a prominent institution in the field of security research. We cherish our close partnerships with numerous major international organizations and esteemed security educational institutions. These collaborations are founded on a shared commitment to common objectives, including crime prevention, combatting extremism and terrorism, and safeguarding human rights. Together, we strive to contribute to the advancement and well-being of humanity as a whole. Our university is guided and supported by its Supreme Council, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Honorary President of the Arab Interior Ministers Council. Alongside him are Their Highnesses and Excellencies, the Arab Interior Ministers, all of whom demonstrate profound interest and support for the university's endeavors. Since its establishment, NAUSS has received unwavering support from the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enabling us to effectively carry out our mission in serving Arab security. This aligns with the pivotal role and significant efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in preserving Arab security and its continuous support for the collective Arab action system. My colleagues and I would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince, for their unwavering support and care for the university.
