About the Center

The Security Research Center was established more than forty years ago to support Arab security decision-making by preparing experts in the field of national security, building a qualitative research environment, conducting multidisciplinary research and capacity-building programs, establishing international partnerships to exchange experiences, and following up on regional and international security developments that... It affects the Arab countries.

Center View

Providing a distinguished research environment to follow up, analyze, and build future perceptions and visions on issues and threats related to national security and combating terrorism in Arab countries and contribute to developing solutions for them.

Center Message

Providing a comprehensive understanding of emerging security issues and challenges and developing proactive solutions to them that help Arab security decision-makers, by developing and developing multidisciplinary security scientific research methodologies and by promoting dialogue on Arab security.

The center's work is focused on the following areas:

Academic

The center contributes to supporting two postgraduate programs: a master’s and diploma in national security, and a diploma in counter-terrorism.

Security Research

The Center prepares studies to be presented to the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. It also prepares and publishes security research, policy analysis papers, and specialized books in the field of national security in its comprehensive sense, which includes combating terrorism, food security, water security, environmental security, and security issues. Geopolitics, and the relationship between women’s empowerment and national security.
