His Excellency Prof. Tariq bin Saleh Alrayes

Prof. Alrayes currently holds the position of Vice-President at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences. Prior to this role, he served in several distinguished positions, including Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Executive Director of the Public Education Sector at the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, and Dean of Graduate Studies at King Saud University. Prof. Alrayes completed his bachelor's degree in Special Education at King Saud University, followed by a master's degree in Deaf Education from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, USA. He further pursued his academic journey and obtained a Ph.D. in Deaf Studies and Deaf Education from Lamar University in Texas, USA. Notably, he is recognized as the founder of the Higher Education Program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students. Additionally, Prof. Alrayes actively participates in various committees, contributing his expertise and insights. He serves as a member of the Permanent Committee of Narcotics Control at the Ministry of Education and as a member of the Committee of Experts of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization. In these roles, he contributes to the development of an Arab plan aimed at enhancing educational institutions for individuals with special needs. His commitment to inclusive education and his contributions to the field of special education make him an esteemed figure in his field.
