In the presence of His Excellency the President of Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, Dr. Abdulmajeed Abdullah Al-Banyan, the university Vice Presidents, and the deans of the faculties, NAUSS organized on Sunday, 22/ 08/ 2021, the annual meeting of the faculty members. The meeting was opened by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, who welcomed the faculty members who joined the university recently.
This was followed by a speech by the Institutional Research Department that reviewed the most prominent achievements of the university for the year 2020, submitted by all NAUSS vice presidencies, in pursuit of achieving the objectives of the strategic plan of the university.
This was followed by a speech by the Vice President for Training, who emphasized the important role of faculty members in developing the training process and supporting it with their academic expertise in the various fields of specialization of the university.
Then the Vice President for Scientific Research spoke about the importance of strengthening and intensifying the participation of faculty members in research work in a way that enriches this vital aspect of the tasks the universityand its role in addressing criminal phenomena in Arab societies.
The Vice President for External Relations emphasized the importance of the role of faculty members in enhancing the role of the university in the Arab world and internationally through their participation in academic meetings and activities included in the annual work program of the university, in addition to their scientific contribution to the (Life and Security) magazine and enriching the content of the website and digital platforms of the university.
His Excellency the President of the University delivered a speech in which he welcomed the faculty members, praising their expertise and efforts. His Excellency addressed the work plan for the new academic year, the facilities to receive new students, and the most prominent projects of the university’s strategy 2019-2023. His Excellency’s speech also included a review of the new academic programs developed by the university to meet the needs of the Arab security services.
At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency honored a number of faculty members and presented the Excellence Award for the best e-course.
