Innovation Lab​

The university launched the Innovation Lab on August 26, 2022, in line with its new strategy; To create a stimulating environment and a positive climate that helps creativity and innovation in the security field. The laboratory aims to become the leading Arab space for creativity and innovation in the field of security sciences, and through it, innovative solutions with impact are developed that serve decision-makers and beneficiaries in the security field. Thus, it falls under the university’s vision, which is to make it the first institution to prepare Arab leaders and experts in the security field. It embodies the university’s mission of developing specialized security cadres by offering distinguished programs in graduate studies, training, and scientific research in the Arab world.

​Innovative stimulation

The Innovation Lab works to establish a culture of innovation at the university, whether in scientific research, training, or education. Innovative stimulation is based on four main activities, operating in the form of tracks, the aim of which is to build a culture of innovative thinking, which are: Brains Meeting, Skills Transfer Meeting, Metab Meeting, and Idea Generation Workshops.

Innovative Production

Innovative production has two paths: innovative research and innovative products. It is based on embracing and developing research and innovative products that aim to develop and improve known methodologies. This allows the implementation of new, better, and more solutions.​

 

Innovative research

It focuses on finding new and innovative creative solutions or developing new technologies, mechanisms, methods, and methodologies for problems and challenges related to security in its comprehensive sense.​

 

Innovative Product

A new or improved product resulting from a series of creative and innovative thinking processes, procedures, efforts, research, and creative and innovative development processes, that contribute to new or improved and innovative solutions to problems and challenges related to security in its comprehensive sense.​
