Center of Cybercrime and Digital Forensics

States, organizations, and individuals have become targets of fifth-generation warfare, which heavily relies on advanced and sophisticated technologies as tools for these wars.

An important report mentioned that the annual cost of cybercrimes by 2025 will reach 10 trillion USD. Artificial intelligence has also become an important element in these wars, as it is used in cyber-attacks. This highlights the importance of establishing the Center for Cybercrimes and Digital Forensics for beneficiary entities, which was established on 05/08/1442 AH, based on the decision of the University's Supreme Council.

The Center contributes to realizing the University's vision of becoming the first Arab institution in the field of security sciences regarding cybercrimes, digital forensics, and emerging technologies. It does so by developing academic programs under the supervision of the University's Academic Affairs, as well as state-of-the-art training programs, scientific research programs, and community service programs. This enables beneficiary entities in Arab countries to address the challenges posed by fifth-generation wars.
