Brief Biography:
His Excellency Major General Abu Al-Makarem currently serves as the Assistant Minister of Interior and Head of the Police Academy in the Arab Republic of Egypt. In addition to these responsibilities, he holds chairmanship positions on several boards, including the Board of Directors of the Police Academy, the Authorship and Translation Committee at the Ministry of Interior, and the boards of the scientific journals published by the organizational entities of the Police Academy, such as the Police College, Postgraduate Studies, Training and Development, and the Police Research Center. Furthermore, he serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Public Security" journal published by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior. Major General Abu Al-Makarem graduated from the Police College in 1986 and has since held various positions in several sectors of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, including the Police Academy, Cairo Security, Legal Affairs, Planning and Monitoring, and Officers Affairs. In recognition of his exemplary service, he was honored with the Medal of Excellence - First Class in 2020. Additionally, he holds membership in the Supreme Council of Police, further showcasing his dedication and expertise in the field.
